The Doorway variety .
When an ordinary doorway is transformed into the world’s first Doorway variety.
The scene is set in this nostalgic cabaret style, variety show with candle pot lights and a velvet curtain. Almost anything can happen and usually does.

This incredibly versatile Cabaret can be set up in any area or environment and in a number of ways from free standing, to supported in a doorway or by its
surroundings (light poles, wall, etc…)

Free standing; We use 2 poles with bases to create the wings and one pole across the top to support the curtain, red velvet with gold trim. There is a stage area set with paper bag pot lights, a safety rope (standing room only).

Space needed is 2 meters high, 3 meters wide and 3 meters deep. Back stage is open to the public (passes only). Some people have watched from behind this is quite fun. The Doorway variety Premiered in March 2005 at the Melbourne Comedy Festival to great reviews and standing ovations (of course there's no seating but hay it still makes us feel good)

-It was a sidewalk blocker so much so they were on the road.

-Turn any street corner into a stage

-This portable cabaret can be set in any area or environment.
